Insanity and the chili peppers

As I explained a long time ago, there are a Turkish and a Singaporean guys living in my flat, and they actually are quite peculiar, specially with food. Ali and Chinmay have their respective cupboards full of huge amounts of different spices. Up to here everything is OK, but they are also devotes of the hot food. Ali is happy putting hot spices in the most of his meals, but Chinmay is able to eat so extremely hot things that I am not even able to smell.

They both spent their Christmas holidays together in Turkey, and they came back with more and more chili pepers. There are chili peppers in all the ways you can imagine them: fresh, sun-dried, in oil, in powder, in water... "I would bet this is the house with more chili peppers in Sweden", said Chinmay once, visibly proud of their masterpiece.

He has been years trying, testing and buying the most hot sauces and chili peppers he finds. "People do not like ot food: people get addicted to it. When you eat something hot, you sweat and experience a raise of the heart rate; suddenly you have adrenaline running through your veins, like when riding a roaller coaster. And you get addicted to it".

This is a picture of Chinmay's shelf. Here you can find some of the most hot sauces in the world, Ghost and specially Insanity. There is not a better word for summarising all this... :)
